why virtual reality is the future ?

Augmented reality & Virtual reality

As discussed earlier, AR/VR devices include headsets, tablets, smartphones, wearables, and consoles. AR/VR devices provide different levels of experience across the reality spectrum but also have limitations. Virtual reality headsets often use smartphones to display content. These devices are useful for introducing VR but do not deliver a truly immersive experience. It is also common for headsets to be bulky, which makes it difficult to use one for prolonged periods. What will the future of our devices look like? How will augmented and virtual reality affect them? We live surrounded by screens every day. If we could see through them, what would we see? Technology for virtual and augmented reality will consolidate over the next few years and be available in two forms: tethered systems and standalone units. Tethered systems will consist of a device worn on the head and a wire connecting it to the processing unit. These units will have all systems inside them-from that, display the processing and be available as wearables. Manufacturers are already selecting a mixture of standalone and connected units in these trends. Some standalone units are already available but are more complex and difficult to implement. Today, augmented and virtual reality devices are in a state of compromise. It is impossible to offer users a complete, boundless, and immersive experience with any existing system. Most systems lack a wide, natural field of view (FOV), are limited in their display resolution, have low brightness, have short battery life, and lack 3D sensing. We will see true, unconstrained AR/VR applications in the next three to five years. Future AR/VR devices will offer personalized, accessible, and well-designed experiences. These elements are causing a platform shift to take place. In three years, we will see next-generation AR glasses with LTE capabilities that will replace smartphones. With improved immersive technology and AR capabilities, the form factor of our favorite consumer electronics will change forever. A few years from now, we may be checking our text messages with augmented reality and scrolling through Instagram with smart glasses.
